SSE wins an order of 65 DC chargers and 1 set of charging container from TRANSDEV. The charging facilities are supposed to power Volvo’ s fleet of 154 electric buses in Gothenburg, Sweden.

65 units of 120kW European standard DC chargers and one set of 1080kW charging container, with a total capacity of nearly 10,000kW, are expected to be delivered in October this year. The equipment will be deployed in four regions of Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city, including Grimbo, Kville, Partille and Molndal, to meet the charging needs of 154 Volvo 18-meter electric buses.

SSE European standard DC chargers have been successfully connected to Volvo in Norway, while the European standard charging container will make its debut in Northern Europe. Charging container is SSE’s best seller in European market. It adopts advanced centralized management and intelligent power distribution. With excellent rain, snow and low temperature resistance, it can run stably in harsh environment. This time, the 24-gun 1080kW charging container will comply with European standards. Each container is connected to six 4-gun split chargers and can charge 24 buses at the same time.
