SSE was invited to “International Workshop on Policy framework to deploy Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructures” held on 19 November in Delhi, sharing the EV charging infrastructure development around the world and SSE’s experience in global market.

The workshop was organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, in association with the International Energy Agency and the Electric Vehicle Initiative under the Clean Energy Ministerial. It aims to identify opportunity areas for India to help fast track the deployment of EV charging infrastructure commensurate with EV growth and the fast changing power systems of today.

India government is hoping to learn from global experiences and business models. As a renowned Chinese charger manufacturer that has been expanding rapidly in the global market in the past two years, SSE has become one of the outstanding suppliers invited by IEA. SSE’s partner shared our experience in the construction of charging facilities in Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions, including the charging station of Beijing Daxing International Airport, the world’s largest terminal.

SSE entered in the mainstream charging market in India one year ago, and has provided green power for the first batch of electric buses in Delhi. During the 2019 China International Import Expo opened earlier this month, SSE also received the Indian government delegation. This meeting is another opportunity for SSE to further explore the Indian market. SSE will actively deliver more EV solutions for the charging infrastructure layout to boost e-mobility in India.
